Perched on the Tagish Bridge railing, this visitor is on the lookout.
Tagish Bridge is situated along the Six-Mile River between Marsh Lake and Tagish Lake. The US Army built it on the road from Carcross to Jake's Corner on the Alaska Highway in 1942.
Tagish means "fish trap" in the Tagish Athapaskan language and today you will still find young and old fishing from the bridge.
